Prof. Dr Jasminka Hasic coordinator of the EDIRE project, recently visited Lund University as part of The Next Step – Community of Practice, within the INSPIRE program.
The Next Step brings together senior leaders and managers in #Equality #Diversity #Inclusion (EDI) from universities and research institutions across Europe and beyond. It provides a platform for peer learning, knowledge exchange, and collaborative thinking on how to embed EDI values across academia.
During her visit, Prof. Jasminka shared the current activities and goals of the EDIRE project, highlighting both successful practices and ongoing challenges in implementing EDI (Equity, Diversity, Inclusion) principles within institutional frameworks. She also engaged in in-depth discussions with fellow participants, exchanging valuable insights and exploring innovative solutions to common obstacles in this field.
The atmosphere was dynamic and collaborative — participants were deeply engaged, thoughtful, and open, creating the perfect setting for mutual learning and inspiration.
