16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence Campaign at SSST

In support of the global initiative, SSST has been a proud participant in this year’s 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence Campaign, organized under the framework of the UNIGEM project.

A widespread movement across campus gathered together professors, students, and activists, initiating an awareness-raising campaign on all relevant gender-based issues, but also introducing the SSST Gender Equality Action Plan which promises to deliver a comprehensive set of measures directed toward a more productive discrimination and bias-free academic atmosphere.

Associate Professor Jasminka Hasić-Telalović had the opportunity to talk about Gender Equality plans and presented EDIRE to students, professors, and the guests and partners of the university.

Apart from Jasminka Hasić- Telalović, other speakers were Emina Bošnjak (Executive Director of Sarajevski otvoreni centar), Mirza Rastoder (founder and CEO the first university HUB in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Homework HUB), Asja Krsmanović (Nisam tražila social initiative), Slađan Tomić (Media Centar Sarajevo Journalist), Jasna Kovačević (University of Sarajevo), and Professor Zilka Spahić Šiljak (TPO Foundation).
