On Wednesday, March 6th, 2024, two EDIRE training sessions were organized to enhance the capacities of SSST.
In the opening address, all attendees were greeted by the project coordinator, Prof. Jasminka Hasić Telalović, who presented all the implemented activities within the EDIRE project over the past 18 months, as well as plans for upcoming activities.
Cinzia Leone, a representative of the EDIRE project from the University of Genoa, conducted a training session on the topic of “Research funding and funding management”. Following her, Liisa Hanninen, a representative of the EDIRE project from Complutense University of Madrid, delivered a training session on the topic of Internal management of European projects: challenges and best practices.
Both training sessions aimed to strengthen and enhance the capacities of SSST, targeting representatives of administration and management.
Prof. Dr. Ejup Ganić, the founder of SSST University, also addressed the attendees, expressing satisfaction and honor that SSST has the opportunity to collaborate with such eminent universities. He emphasized that this collaboration sets an excellent example of networking for future projects and strengthening research infrastructure.
