Short description:
A Road to Ph.D.: Supervision, Networking, and Autonomous Work is an online training session where the Ph.D. study process will be discussed, as well as the common challenges that can be faced. The interactive session will provide you with tips on how to create a healthy work routine and take care of oneself (and the different ways we can do that). The Ph.D. is a journey and it is important to learn, but it is more important to enjoy the process along the way and to learn what is expected of you and how to navigate this new level of studies.

About the lecturer:
Dr. Clara Sánchez-Rebato Valiente holds a doctorate in Audiovisual Communications, Advertisement, and Public Relations. She is an expert on the readers online community of Booktube, to which she dedicated her thesis titled Booktube: hablemos de literatura. Estudio de la dinámica entre creadores y usuarios de Youtube a través de los libros. Her academic interests include the study of the dynamic established in this community as well as multimodal discourse analysis, non-verbal gestuality, and audiovisual communication analysis. In addition, she involved in European-funded projects centered on expanding the academic knowledge regarding disability or gender like the current project, EDIRE.
