Social media for success in research: building networks and advancing your career as a young researcher with Rita Bencivenga
On November 22nd, Rita Bencivenga within EDIRE training sessions, held the workshop dubbed: Social media for success in #research: building networks and advancing your career as a young researcher.
📝Participants could learn how to use #social #media platforms to improve and broaden their research fields of interests. We discussed about the examples that could be found via #Facebook, #Instagram, #X, and #LinkedIN. Rita highlighted LinkedIN as a good example of promotion, dissemination and searching area for young researchers, where they can connect or link with other researchers to share advices and suggestions, or even better, to find a mentor. Online world should be more explored and used in a #research and #scientific way.
📌Bencivenga’s general research interests are in gender in higher education, gender and technology, equality, diversity, and inclusion.
