About the lecturer:
Rita Bencivenga graduated in Educational Sciences from the University of Genoa, Italy. After a successful career in the private and non-profit sectors managing international projects on higher and adult education, with a focus on technology, she completed her Ph.D. at the University of Paris X, Nanterre, France, under the supervision of Cendrine Marro and Nicole Mosconi. Rita Bencivenga’s general research interests are in gender in higher education, gender and technology, equality, diversity, and inclusion. Since February 2021 she has worked at the University of Genoa, Italy, as a member of the Ulysseus University TEAM. She contributed to creating the UniGEGender Equality Plan, and she gives speeches and training in Universities and Public Bodies on how to build, manage, and monitor GEPs from a gender+ perspective and add a gender dimension to research and teaching activities.
