EDIRE Management Training – Day 1

Yellow Brick & Marija’s leadership training was dedicated to the theme: “The Manager as a Creator of Team Dynamics and Inclusion.” It was a full day of interaction, reflection, and practical skill-building designed to strengthen leadership through equlity, diversity, and inclusion (EDI).

Highlights from the agenda:
Welcome & Expectations – setting the tone for two days of learning and collaboration.


✅ Manager as a Creator of Team Culture – reflecting on what “diversity” means in our teams and how patterns of behaviour shape belonging.
✅ Hearing Every Voice – uncovering invisible team dynamics, practicing techniques to engage quieter members, and even designing our own inclusive meetings.
✅ Unconscious Biases in Managerial Decisions – exploring how biases affect delegation, recognition, and professional development; testing who is in our “circle of trust.”
✅ Situational Leadership in Practice – through workshops, mini case studies, and real scenarios, participants applied flexible leadership approaches.

The day closed with reflections and conclusions, leaving participants energised with new insights, practical tools, and stronger connections.

What made the day special was the balance of deep learning, interactive exercises, open discussion, and networking; making leadership development both impactful and fun.

We are excited to carry this momentum into Day 2 as we move towards fairness, conflict resolution, and concrete leadership change!
