We’re proud to share that on April 10th EDIRE partner Cinzia Leone presented innovative research on #gender, #inclusion #equality and #diversity at the 8th International Conference on Gender Research 2025. During her session, she also introduced the key goals of the European EDIRE project, showcasing how our work contributes to building more inclusive academic and institutional environments across Europe and beyond.
This international conference, now in its eighth edition, continues to be a key meeting point for scholars and practitioners working in the field of #genderresearch. With 90 participants on-site and over 120 attendees joining virtually from across the globe, #ICGR2025 proved once again the global relevance and urgency of gender-focused discussions.
Beyond knowledge sharing, this was also an important moment to highlight how #Europeanfunded projects like #EDIRE can act as powerful tools for promoting structural change—even at a time when the gender dimension in science and academia is being challenged at both global and regional levels.
